Mr. George Alexander MuthootDirector

George Alexander Muthoot has been associated with the company since incorporation. He is a Chartered Accountant who qualified with a first rank in Kerala and ranked 20th overall in India, in 1978. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Kerala University, where he was a rank holder and gold medallist. He was also awarded the Times of India Group Business Excellence Award in customized financial services in March 2009. He served as the Chairman of the Kerala Non-Banking Finance Companies Welfare Association from 2004 to 2007 and is currently its Vice Chairman. He is also the Member Secretary of Finance Companies Association, Chennai, Founder and Core Committee member of The Indus Entrepreneurs International (Kochi Chapter) and CII National Committee member for Entrepreneurship & NBFC.

Mr. George Thomas Muthoot Director

Mr. George Thomas Muthoot has been associated with the company since incorporation. A businessman by profession and with over three decades of operational and management experience in financial services, his insights have played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and profitability.

Mr. Eapen Alexander Muthoot Executive Director Muthoot Group

Eapen is an Executive Director in Muthoot Finance and oversees the IT, Analytics and Strategic Initiatives of Muthoot Finance and its subsidiaries. He is also a Director for Muthoot Finance’s Affordable Home Loans subsidiary – Muthoot Homefin and is also a Director for Muthoot Finance’s Vehicle Loans subsidiary – Muthoot Money. Additionally, he is also a Director for CRIF High Mark Credit Information Services Private Limited, a Credit Information Bureau. Eapen also serves as a member on the India & Middle Eastern advisory board of Fuqua School of Business – Duke University. Eapen Holds an MBA from Duke University, an MSC. In International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a BA Economics (Honours) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai

Mr. K. R. Bijimon Director

K. R. Bijimon has been associated with our Company since September 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Mahatma Gandhi University, a bachelor’s degree in science from Mahatma Gandhi University and a master’s degree in business administration from Cochin University of Science and Technology. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a certified associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance and a fellow member of Certified Management Accountants, Institute of Sri Lanka. He started his career as a senior manager (finance) with Muthoot Bankers in 1996. Currently he is the chief general manager of Muthoot Finance Limited

Mr. Jose Kurian Independent Director

Jose Kurian has been associated with the Company as an Independent Director since September 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from University of Kerala and a master’s degree in structural engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has also completed a post graduate diploma course in earthquake engineering from IISEE, Japan. He has been the president of Indian Concrete Institute and is currently a member of Indian Roads Congress and Indian Building Congress.

Mr. V. C. James Independent Director

V. C. James has been associated with the Company as an Independent Director since January 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science from University of Kerala. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He served as a central council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi and was the chairman of Southern India Chartered Accountants, Chennai. Currently, he is a senior partner at M/s Sankar & Moorthy, Chartered Accountants, Kochi.

Mr. Jacob K. Varghese Independent Director

Jacob K. Varghese has been associated with the Company as an Independent Director since May 2019. He has 36 + years of experience in Indian and foreign taxation, auditing and indirect and direct tax laws. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Company Secretaries of India and practicing in the name of J.K. Varghese & Co., Chartered Accountants in Mumbai from 1983. He is a Board member and Treasurer of Haggai Institute-India for the last 10 years. He is the Chairman of St. Mary’s ICSE School, Koparkhairne, Navi Mumbai for the last 12 years. He is also the Director of Indira Institute of Business management, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai

Anna Alexander Additional Director

Anna Alexander has been associated with the Company since October 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce.
